En Malique Firdauz bin Ahmad Sidique, currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer, Group Islamic Banking & Head, Group Performance Reporting, has been appointed as Officer-in-Charge (OIC), Group CEO, Islamic Banking & CEO, Maybank Islamic Berhad (MIB) effective 1 August 2025. He will be reporting to the President & Group CEO.

En Nor Shahrizan Sulaiman, currently serving as OIC, Group CEO, Islamic Banking & CEO, Maybank Islamic Berhad, has decided to pursue other professional interests outside of the Group.
The process to identify the new CEO, MIB is progressing well and the Group will make the appropriate announcement when the requisite approvals have been obtained.

En Malique Sidique will take on the day-to-day management of MIB in addition to his current duties, until a new CEO, MIB is appointed.
