En Nor Shahrizan Sulaiman, currently serving as Deputy CEO of Maybank Islamic Berhad (MIB), has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge, following the resignation of the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Islamic Banking, Dato’ Muzaffar Hisham, to pursue other professional interests. The process to identify the new GCEO will commence immediately and the outcome of which will be announced in due course.

En Nor Shahrizan will take on the day-to-day management of MIB in addition to his current duties, until a new GCEO is appointed.
